As a sales professional, you already know that sales is about people.  While we often have time to form relationships, the sales environment is one in which we must quickly build trust and establish credibility. Through Inclusity’s ACES sales training, you can gain confidence and competence selling to all kinds of people.

Inclusity’s ACES Sales Training is designed to maximize your organization’s sales success by fully preparing individual sales professionals to examine their personal biases and implement sales strategies that quickly build comfort and trust.

Today’s diverse selling environment needs sales professionals who are competent and comfortable selling to all kinds of people. Through ACES sales training, sales agents learn to recognize and manage biases and modify their approach to a broader range of prospective customers. The result?  Stronger relationships and better business outcomes.

ACES Sales Training Objectives

  • Identify your “blind spots” with regards to differences
  • Manage those blind spots while in sales situations
  • Quickly establish trust with a diverse group of potential customers
  • Create quick connections with prospective customers so that they are able to engage in a meaningful conversation about the organization’s offerings
  • Feel competent and confident in any new sales opportunity
  • Improve sales success and close rate with new clients in time sensitive situations

Why focus on unconscious bias?

In sales, one slight misstep or unintentional discount can result in a broken relationship and lost sales opportunities. Those missteps can take the form of hidden assumptions that influence how sales professionals connect with prospective customers, ask questions, and respond to customers.

Unconscious bias is the automatic and often unconscious judgments we make about people based on race, gender, age, or other factors. These biases can affect how we perceive and interact with others. It might affect how a sales agent decides which prospects to prioritize or how they choose to build rapport. Unconscious biases can lead overlooking potential customers, misunderstanding customer needs, and ineffective communication. Biases can inadvertently weaken trust and prevent sales teams from fully understanding client needs. Ultimately, sales opportunities diminish.

Remember: bias is normal! We don’t blame and shame; however, we want to help sales professionals recognize automatic thinking so they can act more intentionally inclusive.

ACES sales training proactively addresses unconscious bias, helping sales agents become more aware of their biases and how to manage them. When sales professionals approach customers with curiosity rather than assumptions, they are more likely to gain trust – and gain sales.
