Speaking Engagement Topics

Intro to Inclusion

Inclusion is about everyone! This positive presentation helps to emphasize that everyone should feel heard, valued, and that they belong. Through the interactive exercise of sharing our Elements of Individuality, we learn how to foster meaningful connections. This presentation grows people’s awareness of what it means to be inclusive and how small, everyday actions can contribute to a culture of belonging.

Learn to Lead with Empathy

Organizations with empathetic leaders show increased employee engagement and reduced staff turnover. As a leader, how can you strengthen your empathy and strengthen relationships? Discover actionable ways to build and apply empathy in this growth-oriented presentation, designed with people leaders in mind.

How to Make Conscious Connections

To be human is to have biases! However, our biases can unconsciously influence our attitudes toward people and compromise our ability to connect with them. The good news? By becoming aware of our biases, we can consciously take steps to counter them and enhance relationships. In this non-judgmental presentation, attendees will explore how easily our biases form and how we can manage them.

Cross the Divide: Getting Past Divisive Beliefs

We don’t all believe the same things. We don’t all learn the same way, we don’t see the world from the exact same point of view…and we don’t have to! The key to a cohesive and productive workplace culture is to not let differences lead to exclusion and division. This presentation helps attendees recognize that even if they disagree with others’ beliefs, they can still act in ways that help everyone feel a sense of belonging and respect.

Lead with Your Strengths

Lean into your strengths! With this presentation by a Gallup-certified Strengths coach, you can discover how to leverage insights from the CliftonStrengths assessment.  You’ll learn actionable ways to further develop and apply your strengths to boost effectiveness, collaboration, and productivity.

Courageous Conversations: How to Make Space for Bravery

Real learning and growth come from opportunities to have honest discussions about topics that can be challenging, like bias and discrimination. A safe, empathetic environment is crucial for people to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable. In this presentation, explore how you can quickly establish safety and build trust for your employees or colleagues so that you can tackle tough topics with confidence.

Caring for Caregivers in the Workplace

No shocker: People have lives outside of work. Often, those personal responsibilities involve caregiving.  One in five full-time employees cares for someone who is aging, ill, or disabled outside of their paid job. More than 90% of fathers and more than 70% of mothers with young children also work outside of the home. These caregiving roles can have an outsized impact on employees; stress, a lack of flexibility, and conflicting priorities can affect their work performance, attendance, and morale.  This presentation offers insight and strategies for HR professionals and people leaders, as they navigate supporting employees in caregiving roles while remaining fair to all employees.

On the PulseCultural Insights to Boost Team Performance

Want to improve employee engagement and productivity? Harness metrics about how employees experience your organization’s workplace culture. With real world examples, this presentation shows what to measure and how to apply the culture assessment data you gather.
