How We Can Help

What Inclusity offers is more than consultation; it’s a partnership. We collaborate with our clients to customize diversity and inclusion strategy solutions to strengthen their culture. With decades of experience in the inclusion space, we know what works – and what doesn’t.

Develop Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Plans

Successful culture-building or change needs support from thoughtful planning. Ideally, what we learn from a culture assessment will guide the direction of developing a fully fleshed out diversity and inclusion strategy. As we help you create a plan, we will refer to our culture change model steps to ensure that the efforts are sustainable and reinforced throughout the organization

Consultation

Whether it’s guidance on inclusion initiatives, accessibility, or managing resistance, Inclusity can provide valuable insights. We help you look deeply at and understand your organizational culture – its anchors and its deficits – and help you strategize how to achieve an ideal culture.

Change Management

We’re PROSCI-certified and have robust experience providing facilitation, consultation, and communication support for change initiatives.

Inclusive Policy Review

Policies and procedures are an important piece of an effective diversity and inclusion strategy. These guidelines and systems do more than help organizations run smoothly – they shape employees’ experience and engagement. Outdated or exclusive policies and procedures can actively hinder an organization’s efforts toward a fair and equitable workplace.

Examining your organization’s current policies and procedures can offer key insights into the relationship between written policy and workplace climate. Analysis helps identify opportunities to enhance internal policies or practices so that they can be as inclusive and equitable as possible.

Inclusity is happy to directly review your organization’s policies and procedures or we can provide our Inclusive Policy Toolkit for your organization to use.

Establish Baseline Metrics

Through the insights gathered from culture assessment toolsInclusity can develop a comprehensive view of an organization’s culture and its needs. After analyzing and summarizing the data, we present trends as well as recommendations for next steps. The analysis will help you develop baseline metrics so you can measure IDE efforts moving forward.

Communication Support

Amid culture-building or change efforts, clear and caring communication is vital. Inclusity’s in-house experts can help you build communication plans as well as develop communication pieces, such as letters, talking points, presentations, and marketing.

Develop Mentorship Programs

Mentorship programs are another means to cultivate inclusion and belonging. While the mentor and mentee are at the core of any program, we’ve found that providing the pair with structure and guidance leads to more positive outcomes. Inclusity has helped organizations launch mentoring programs, including training and creating materials for mentor-mentee connections.

Establish and Support ERGs

Effective employee resource groups (ERGs) significantly contribute to an inclusive workplace. As groups of individuals with shared identities, ERGs benefit their members as well as the organization. Some of the ways an ERG can add value are by providing:

  • Advocacy and education related to their Element of Individuality
  • Community, support and professional development for the people they represent
  • Insights and feedback to leaders

Inclusity has experience helping organizations set up ERGs, facilitate training for its leaders, and offer ongoing consultation.
