Conflict is inevitable! Instead of trying to control, eliminate or even manage it, we frame it as potentially constructive conflict. By viewing it as a means of growth, we can transform conflict into stronger workplace relationships, greater productivity, and improved decision-making.
In this workshop, participants gain a better understanding of their personal conflict style as well as those of others. Through interactive exercises and role play, they’ll become more comfortable proactively handling conflict.
We recommend that all supervisors, HR managers, project managers and change agents take this four-hour workshop (expandable to eight hours).
Workshop Objectives
- Recognize the value of constructive conflict, which can be an important component to innovation and success
- Discover your conflict management style, so you can assess your approach and capability to facilitate conflict
- Understand five conflict styles so that you can recognize the styles when you observe or encounter them
- Gain the ability to flex your TKI style to meet the needs of colleagues
- Learn to assess conflicts and to determine which of the four facilitation options will best achieve the needed results
- Understand how to address low-level conflict, using Inclusity’s C.A.R.E. model
