Micro Management Series

We know people leaders are busy! That’s why we created a series of micro workshops to provide continuous opportunities for learning and growth that are bite-sized yet impactful.  Based on our Inclusive Leadership Framework, the series helps managers and supervisors develop essential competencies and skills.

Bite-sized, ongoing leadership development

According to a Gallup report, only 30% of supervisors were promoted based on their supervisory skills and experience. Throwing middle managers “into the deep end” isn’t new. However, middle management has expanded dramatically in the last 20 years. Now, in addition to navigating hybrid work environments and AI adoption, there’s a rising tide of burnout. Successful leadership requires managing the nuances of the human side of a changing work environment – which takes skills.

“Emotional and social intelligence remain top leadership capabilities when it comes to meeting current and expected business needs,” says a 2025 Harvard Business study. Plenty of research shows that empathetic, inclusive leaders vastly improve engagement, belonging, productivity, and more, but many haven’t been trained to cultivate and demonstrate interpersonal skills.

These workshops accommodate busy schedules while still offering engaging opportunities for skill-building.  Multiple touch points help to reinforce and extend participants’ leadership development and connections with each other.
